Court Appearance: Operation Táirge, Arrest of Male for Nationwide Organised Retail Theft. 21st August, 2024.

Gardaí have charged the man, aged in his 40s, that was detained as part of Operation Táirge, into the investigation of multiple thefts by an Eastern European Organised Crime Gang. The alleged thefts primarily involve premium alcohol and spirits with an estimated potential loss to the retailers in excess of €30,000.

He is due to appear before a special sitting of Limerick District Court this morning Wednesday 21st August, 2024 at 9.30am
