Gardaí in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin are investigating all the circumstances in relation to the discovery of a man with serious injuries found on a residential road in the Balbriggan area in the early hours of Saturday, 10th August 2024.
The man was removed from the scene to Beaumont Hospital by ambulance and later died on Sunday, 11th August 2024. A post mortem was subsequently completed and the results of which are not being disclosed for operational reasons.
A woman aged in her 40s was arrested in Balbriggan this morning on suspicion of murder and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in North Dublin.
Investigations are ongoing.
