Gardaí have seized €300,000 cannabis and arrested 4 individuals following a search operation today in the Clare Street area of Limerick City, Friday 26th April 2024.
The searches were carried out by Limerick Divisional Drug Unit, supported by members of the Regional Armed Support Unit.
During the course of these searches cash totaling approximately €10,000 as well as 30 Cannabis plants and approximately 15 Kilos of Cannabis, with a combined total estimated value of €300,000 was seized.
The drugs seized will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for further analysis.
Four men (aged 30s, 40s, 60s) were arrested at the scene. All are detained pursuant to Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Garda Stations in the Limerick Division.
Investigations are ongoing.
