€121,000 Cannabis Seized - GNDOCB and Revenue Joint Operation, Waterford, 22nd April 2024

As part of an intelligence-led joint operation involving the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and the Waterford Divisional Drugs Unit, Revenue officers seized approximately 6.1kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €121,000 in Co. Waterford, 22nd April 2024.

Two males, both in their 50’s, were arrested by An Garda Síochána and are currently detained at a Garda Station in County Waterford under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

Investigations are ongoing.
