The Criminal Assets Bureau conducted a search operation in the Dublin Metropolitan Region (DMR North) this morning, Thursday, 14th September 2023.
The operation involved searches at a number of locations, and was conducted by personnel from the Criminal Assets Bureau, with the support of the Emergency Response Unit, and DMR North District Detective and Drug Unit personnel. The Customs Dog Unit also provided assistance.
The following items of note were seized:
• Several designer handbags (value €6,850)
• Cash (€2,555)
• Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust watch and box (value €9,050)
• VW Passat R Line
• VW Golf R Line
In addition to the above assets, files and documentation were also seized.
Today’s operation targeted an Organised Crime Group involved in drug trafficking and firearms crime. It marks a significant development in this ongoing investigation.
