Gardaí have arrested four people as part of the investigation into an incident which occurred in Clondalkin, Dublin 22 on Tuesday, 12th September 2023, where a man was found with a number of injuries.
The male (30s) continues to receive medical treatment at Tallaght University Hospital.
Gardaí arrested four juvenile males (aged in their teens) on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th September 2023 in relation to this investigation. They were detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in Dublin.
They have since been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions. A file will also be referred for consideration for admission to the Garda Youth Diversion Bureau.
Investigations are ongoing.
