Gardaí have seized €91,000 worth of cocaine and arrested two men as part of a search operation that took place on Friday evening, 1st September, 2023 at approximately 6.30p.m.
Gardaí attached to the Dublin Crime Response Team (DCRT) carried out a search under warrant at a residential property in Ballybrack, Co. Dublin. During the course of the search cocaine with an estimated street value of €91,000 was seized. The drugs are now subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland (FSI).
Two men (aged in their 50s and 30s) were arrested as part of this investigation. They are both currently detained at a Garda Station in Dublin under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
