Gardaí from the Kerry Division arrested a man (aged in his 50s) yesterday, Friday 6th October 2023, at Dublin Airport in relation to the ongoing investigation into the fatal assault of a man at Abbey Court, Tralee, County Kerry on 22nd May 2022.
The arrest follows the extradition of the man from England where he had been arrested on foot of a Trade and Co-Operation Agreement arrest warrant.
He has since been charged in relation to this investigation and is due to appear before a special sitting of Kenmare District Court this afternoon, Saturday 7th October 2023 at 3.00pm.
Investigations are ongoing.
