The man in his 30s arrested as part of the ongoing investigation into the alleged assault of a female that is reported to have occurred on a Luas tram on the evening of Sunday 29th October 2023 has been released without charge.
A file will be prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardaí continue to appeal to any members of the public who may have witnessed an alleged assault on board the Luas between Jervis Street and Heuston Station at approximately 7:10pm on Sunday 29th October 2023 to come forward.
