As part of an on-going organisational de-brief, the Garda Senior Leadership Team met today to discuss the criminal investigations and serious public order incident in Dublin city centre last Thursday. A range of positive actions were discussed and agreed relating to public order and operational policing, as well as crime investigation to support Gardaí in their work in keeping people safe.
Commissioner Harris will report on these positive actions to the Oireachtas Justice Committee tomorrow.
The Garda Senior Leadership Team is chaired by the Garda Commissioner, and includes the two Deputy Commissioners, Chief Administrative Officer, all Assistant Commissioners, all Executive Directors, the Chief Medical Officer, and Director of Communications.
