Gardaí in Drogheda investigating organised criminal activity in Drogheda, Co. Louth have released the two women who were arrested on Thursday 18th May, 2023.

Both women, aged in their 20s, were arrested and detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007 and have been released without charge. 

A third woman, aged in her 40s was arrested and detained on Friday 19th May, 2023 and has since been released without charge. 

A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions, in respect of all arrests.
