Update: Further Arrest re Fatal Shooting, South Circular Road, Kilmainham, Dublin 8. 24th June, 2022.

Gardaí have arrested a fifth person this evening, Tuesday 16th May, 2023 in relation to the fatal shooting of a man in his 30s that occurred at an underground carpark of a premises on the South Circular Road in Kilmainham, Dublin 8 on Friday 24th June, 2022.

The man, aged in his 20s was arrested under a Section 42 warrant, Criminal Justice Act, 1999 and is currently detained at a city centre Garda station.

The four persons arrested on Monday morning 15th May, 2023 all remain detained under Section 50 Criminal Justice Act, 2007 in various Garda stations across Dublin City.
