Court Appearance - Revenue Customs seizure of €2.8 million of Cannabis. 21st May, 2023.

Gardaí who assisted Revenue Officers that seized approximately 142kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €2.84 million at Dublin Port on Sunday 21st May, 2023 have charged the suspect.

The man, aged in his 40s, who was detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in Dublin has since been charged in relation to the seizure and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, this evening Monday 22nd May, 2023 at 4.30p.m.
