Gardaí are continuing to appeal to the public for information in relation to the whereabouts of 93 year old Liam Brassil who is missing from Tralee, County Kerry, since the evening of Thursday 1st June 2023.
Liam Brassil was last seen at approximately 5:20pm yesterday evening in his home at Sycamore View, Caherwisheen, Tralee, County Kerry. He is described as being approximately 5 foot 4 inches in height with a slim build, grey hair and blue eyes.
Speaking this evening, Superintendent Flor Murphy said, "An Garda Síochána are very concerned for the welfare of Liam Brassil. He is 93 years of age, 5 foot 4 in height, suffers from dementia, is frail and he uses a mobility frame.
"He was last seen shortly after 5pm yesterday evening, Thursday 1st June, at Sycamore View, Caherwisheen, Tralee. "I am again appealing to the public - Did you see Mr Brassil - a small, elderly, frail man possibly using a mobility frame in the Caherwisheen area yesterday evening after 5pm?
"I am also appealing to property owners in the general Caherwisheen area, please check your properties - gardens, shrubs, bushes, yards, garages, sheds, parked vehicles etc.
"Mr Brassil is suffering from dementia and he could well have wandered onto your property so please check all these.”
Searches in the locality for Mr Brassil are continuing this evening.
