Gardaí are investigating an assault on a man that occurred at approximately 6:25pm on Sunday 9th July 2023 in the Mac Uilliam Drive area of Tallaght, Dublin 24.
The injured male (30s) was taken to Tallaght University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A technical examination of the scene at Mac Uillaim Drive has been conducted.
A man in his 20s was arrested as part of this investigation and detained at a Garda station in Dublin under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
He has since been charged and is expected to appear before Tallaght District Court at 10:30am on Monday 10th July 2023.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this assault to come forward.
