Court Appearance - Serious Assault Foley Street/Buckingham Street Lower Dublin 1 - 5th July 2023

A man aged in 30s arrested by Gardaí at Store Street investigating a serious assault incident in the Foley Street and Buckingham Street Lower areas of Dublin 1 on Wednesday night, has been charged.

He is expected to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court No.1 at the Criminal Courts of Justice on Friday morning, 7th July, 2023.

A man in his 30s seriously injured in the incident is continuing to receive treatment at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. (His condition is understood to be critical but stable.)

The investigation is ongoing.
