€490,000 Cannabis Herb Seizure and Arrests, South East Dublin - 13th December 2023

As part of a joint operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), DMR East Divisional Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Customs Service, herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €490,000 (analysis pending) was seized in south east Dublin earlier today, 13th December 2023.

Two males (one in his 40s and the other in his 50’s) were arrested by An Garda Síochána and are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at a Garda Station in the Dublin Region.

Investigations are ongoing.
