Between 07:00 and 17:00 on National Slow Down Day, GoSafe checked the speed of 102,404 vehicles and detected 126 vehicles travelling in excess of the applicable speed limit. Examples of high speeds include:

- 74km/h in a 50km/h Zone on the Clare Street Limerick Limerick
