Gardaí have arrested a man following the aggravated robbery of a shop in Blackrock, Co. Dublin, yesterday afternoon, Monday 26th September 2022.
Following report that a man armed with a knife had entered a shop on Rockville Road and made threats to staff before fleeing the scene with a sum of cash, Gardaí attended.
No Injuries were reported.
Searches of the area were conducted and the suspect was located.
A man aged in his 50s was arrested and taken to Blackrock Garda Station where he is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
The stolen sum of cash was recovered in full.
Investigations are ongoing.
