Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal single vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcycle that occurred at approximately 7:30pm on Monday, 7th March, 2022, on Bóthar na dTreabh in Galway City.
The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash site remains closed for a technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place. The diversions are expected to remain in place tomorrow morning.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward. Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the Bother na dTreabh area of Galway City at the time of the collision are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
