Gardaí in Pearse Street have arrested one man following an armed robbery that occurred at a business premises on Grafton Street, Dublin 2 on the afternoon of Wednesday 16th February, 2022.
At approximately 3.20p.m. yesterday afternoon a lone male entered the business premises on Grafton Street armed with a weapon and threatened the staff members. He left the scene on foot with a number of items from the premises.
In a follow up search Gardaí arrested one man (early 40's) and a number of items stolen from the premises were located. He was taken to Pearse Street Garda station where he is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
The investigations is ongoing.
