Gardaí have charged one man and released another without charge in relation to the seizure of a loaded semi-automatic pistol and a small amount of cocaine in a search operation on Saturday 17th December, 2022 conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau with support from the Special Crime Task Force.
One man (30s) has been charged in relation to the seizure and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Court number 3 tomorrow morning Monday 19th December, 2022 at 10.30a.m.
The second man (30s) has been released without charge and a file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions. Investigations ongoing.
