Arrest of man on European Arrest Warrant and Special Criminal Court Appearance, 5th December 2022.

Gardaí have today arrested a man (40s) who was returned to this jurisdiction following the execution of a European Arrest Warrant in Spain.

The man was brought before a sitting of the Special Criminal Court today, where he was charged with alleged money laundering offences.

As this matter is now before the courts Gardaí will not be providing further comment.
