Gardaí have seized suspected cannabis plants with an estimated value in excess of €90,000 following searches in Roscommon on Tuesday, 6th December 2022.
At an initial search of a property in Ballaghaderreen in Co.Roscommon, cannabis plants with a value of €44,800 was seized.
A man, aged in his 40s, was arrested in connection with this seizure. He was later released. A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
At a follow up search at a nearby location, cannabis plants with a value of €46,400 was also seized by Gardaí.
All of the drugs seized will now be sent to undergo further analysis.
