Fatal Road Traffic Incident New Ross Co Wexford - 24 April 2022

Following the discovery of human remains in the Maam Cross area of County Galway on Saturday, 9th April 2022 and subsequent DNA analysis by Forensic Science Ireland, the missing person appeal for Stephen Cunningham has been stood down.

Stephen went missing from Ballybrit, Co. Galway on 2nd November 2021.

An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance in this matter. No further action is required.
