Gardaí are currently at the scene of a fatal single vehicle road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 10:35am on Monday, 11th April, 2022, at Curracloe, County Wexford.
The only occupant of the car involved in this collision, a man in his 60s, was taken to Wexford General Hospital where he later passed away. A post-mortem will be conducted at a later date.
Forensic Collision Investigators are currently examining the scene. As a result, the road through Curracloe Village is closed and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward. Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the Curracloe Village area between 10:15am and 10:35am are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
