Gardaí in Monaghan are appealing for witnesses following a robbery from the person which occurred in the Ard Glas area of Killygowan on Saturday September 4, 2021.
A woman was assaulted by a man and had property stolen from her shortly after 10pm on Saturday September 4. The assault took place while the woman was out walking on the Ard Glas/Fairview Drive road in the Killygowan area.
The woman was treated for injuries at Cavan Hospital following the incident.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area, who witnessed this attack and who may be able to assist them with their enquiries to come forward and make contact with them.
In addition anyone who may have video footage, including dash cam footage, is asked to get in contact.
