Court Appearance - European Arrest Warrant (EAW) Co. Dublin – 15/9/21

Gardaí attached to the Extradition Unit, Garda Headquarters have arrested an Algerian man, aged in his 50s, subject of a European Arrest Warrant (EAW).

Following an alert through the Garda PULSE system and SIS II (Schengen Information System) and further relevant enquiries, the male was arrested on the evening of Friday, 10th September 2021.

The EAW is in existence from the French authorities.

This man appeared before the High Court in Dublin on 11th September 2021 and is further remanded to appear before the High Court, Dublin today 15th September 2021.
