Gardaí in Roxboro Road are appealing for witnesses in relation to a serious road traffic collision that occurred on the N18 at Ballinacurra Weston, Co. Limerick yesterday afternoon, Monday 18th October 2021.
The collision, which involved an articulated truck and a tractor, occurred at approximately 3.20pm. The truck, which had a trailer attached, collided with the back of the tractor, which also had a trailer attached. Significant material damage was caused to both vehicles.
The drivers of both vehicles attended University Hospital Limerick; their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
A forensic collision investigation was completed at the scene.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward. Any road users who were travelling on the N18 at Ballinacurra yesterday afternoon between 3.00pm and 3.30pm and who may have camera footage (including dash cam) is asked to make it available to Gardaí.
