Court Appearance €1.18 Million Drug Seizure, Joint Operation Co. Kilkenny 7th October, 2021

Gardaí have charged one man in relation to the joint operation that took place in Kilkenny on Thursday 7th October, 2021 which resulted in the seizure of €1.18 million of cannabis (subject to analysis).

One man, aged in his 20s, was released without charge last night Friday 8th October, 2021 and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The second man, aged in his 40s, has been charged in relation to the seizure and is due to appear before a Special sitting of Gorey District Court this afternoon, Saturday 9th October, 2021 at 5pm.
