On Thursday 25/11/2021 as part of ongoing investigations targeting Organised Crime Groups operating in Dublin City, a Joint Intelligence Led Operation was conducted by the Revenue Customs Service, the Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau and the D.M.R. North Central Divisional Drugs Unit.
During the course of this operation, approximately 4.8Kgs of MDMA with an estimated value of €288,000 was seized by Customs officers.
Gardai arrested a 37 year old male at the scene and he is presently being detained under Section 2 of The Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Store Street Garda Station.
Investigations are continuing.
