Following the discovery of a body in Inverin, Co. Galway today, Thursday 20th May 2021, the search for missing person Stephen Hilton has been stood down.

An Garda Síochána would like to thank all search and rescue agencies who assisted Gardaí in this investigation. Gardaí would also like to thank the media and public for their assistance in this matter.
