Gardaí attached to Kevin Street Divisional Drug Unit, carried out a planned operation at a house on Nicholas Street, Dublin 8 and Bride Street, Dublin 8 on Monday evening 17th May, 2021.
A stop and search operation was put in place and a woman, 21 years was searched and Diamorphine was seized with an estimated street value of €29,960 (subject to analysis). A further stop and search was conducted and a man, 52 years was found with €4,450 cash on his person. Both persons were arrested at the scene and detained under Section 2, Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Kevin Street Garda station.
A further search was conducted of two properties and Diamorphine was seized with an estimated street value of €35,000 (subject to analysis).
