€140,000 Cocaine Seized and Arrest Galway 25th June 2021 - 26th June 2021

The Galway Divisional Drugs Unit have seized €140,000 worth of cocaine and arrested a man following a search of a house in the Newcastle Road area of Galway on 25/06/2021.

During the search operation Gardaí discovered and seized cocaine (pending analysis) with an approximate value of €140,000. Over €2,800 in cash has also been seized.

A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested at the scene. He is currently detained at Galway under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice, Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

Investigations are ongoing.
