Limerick Gardaí have arrested a man, aged in his 40s, in relation to the robbery of an off licence in Corbally, Co. Limerick yesterday evening, Wednesday 14th July 2021
At approximately 7.00pm, the man entered the premises armed with a knife and proceeded to threaten staff. During the course of the aggravated robbery, the man took a sum of cash. He then fled the scene on foot.
Gardaí located the offending male during a follow-up search of the area later in the evening. A sum of cash was found in his possession and he was arrested. He is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 in Henry Street Garda Station.
