Renewed Witness Appeal Serious Assault, Tuam, Co. Galway 11th July, 2021.

Gardaí in Tuam are renewing their appeal for information in relation to the investigation of a serious assault that occurred in the early hours of Sunday 11th July, 2021, at Foster Place in Tuam, Co. Galway.

A man, aged in his 40s, was assaulted at approximately 12.05am and received a number of injuries. He was taken to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin where he continues to be treated for his serious injuries.

Gardaí at Tuam are appealing for any witnesses to this assault to come forward. We are also appealing to any road users (who may have dash cam footage) that were travelling in Tuam town, along Foster Place area between the hours of 11.50pm on Saturday 10th July, 2021, and 12.15am on Sunday 11th July, 2021, to make this footage available to Gardaí.

There have been no arrests at this time and investigations are ongoing.
