Gardaí have seized approximately €80,000 in suspected Cannabis Herb and arrested one man following the search of a residence in the Dublin area on Wednesday 6th January 2021.
At approximately 10.15pm, Gardaí from the Terenure District Drugs Unit carried out a search in the Terenure area. The search was conducted as part of an operation into the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Terenure and Rathmines area.
4kg of Cannabis Herb, valued at an estimated €80,000 (pending analysis) was discovered at the location and a 25 year-old man was arrested shortly afterwards.
He is currently detained at Terenure Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act 1996.
