Witness Appeal following burglary of commercial premises Ballyhaunis August 28, 2021

Gardaí in Claremorris are appealing for information following a burglary at a commercial premises in Cave, Ballyhaunis over the weekend.

An agricultural premises was broken into in the early hours of Saturday morning August 28, 2021 where an attempt was made to access a safe in the building.

During the incident a number of items of clothing were stolen, including Snickers jackets, and Regatta Jackets, and there was damage caused to property. The CCTV system was also removed.

An Garda Síochána are appealing to anyone who may have been in the vicinity of this premises on Friday night and into Saturday morning and who may have seen any activity in the area to contact them.

An Garda Síochána are also interested in speaking with anyone who may have come across CCTV or electronic equipment which may have been discarded in the general area of the store.

Anyone who may have video footage, including dash cam footage, covering the vicinity of the premises on Friday evening and into the early hours of Saturday morning is also encouraged to make contact with the Gardaí in Claremorris.
