Gardaí have charged one man and released one man in relation to the arrests and detentions under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act, 1939 as amended.
Both men were arrested during the course of a search in Drogheda town on Thursday morning, 22nd April, 2021 at 11a.m.
They were both detained and one man was released without charge yesterday evening, Saturday 24th April, 2021 and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The second man has been charged and is due to appear tomorrow morning Monday 26th April, 2021 at Drogheda District Court which is sitting in Dundalk at 10.30a.m.
