On Friday 2nd April 2021, in the course of ongoing investigations targeting persons suspected to be involved in organised crime, personnel attached to the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) supported by the Garda Dog Unit and the Stolen Motor Vehicle Unit conducted a search at an address in the Clondalkin area of Dublin. In the course of the search, three (3) kilogrammes of cocaine and one (1) kilogramme of Cannabis Herb with an estimated street value of €230,000 was seized.
On today’s date 7th April 2021 as part of this organised crime related operation, one male suspect, aged 36 years, was arrested on suspicion of involvement drug trafficking and is currently detained, pursuant to the provisions of section 2 of Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at Ronanstown Garda Station.
