Update - Shooting Incident Clonee, Co. Meath, Monday 25th May 2020

Gardaí investigating a shooting incident in which a man in his 20s was injured in Clonee, Co Meath on Monday 25 May 2020 have arrested a man in 30s. 

The man was arrested this morning, Friday 25 September 2020, in Co Meath by Gardaí based in Asbourne investigating the incident. He is currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939 in Ashbourne Station - he can be held for up to 72 hours.

This is the second person arrested in the investigation to date.
