A man in his 20s is to appear before Ballina District Court this Monday September 14, 2020 in connection with an assault, which occurred at a property in Hazel Lawn, Ballyhaunis, in the early hours of Sunday morning, September 13, 2020.
A man in his 40s suffered serious head injuries during the incident and was taken to Mayo University Hospital. He was later transferred to Beaumount Hospital in Dublin where his condition is described as critical.
A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene and has been charged in connection with this matter. He will appear before Ballina District Court at 12 noon today.
