An intelligence led operation into the sale and supply of drugs in the Kingscourt area of Cavan led to a search of a residence being conducted on Friday, 20th November, 2020.
During the course of this search, approximately €14,000 of suspected cocaine (pending analysis) and a small quantity of suspected cannabis and crack cocaine were seized.
€980 in cash and drug paraphernalia were also seized by Gardaí.
A woman in her late 20s was arrested a short time later by Gardaí and was detained at Bailieboro Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
She has since been charged in relation to this investigation and is due to appear before Cavan District Court on 22/11/2020 at 10:30am.
