Gardaí have charged a male in his teens in relation to the fatal road traffic collision which occurred at North Wall Quay, 31st August 2020.
He is due to appear in Court 2 of the CCJ this evening, Saturday 7th November 2020.

Today, Friday 6th November 2020, Gardaí arrested a male (aged in his teens) in relation to a fatal road traffic collision that occurred in the North Wall Quay area of Dublin City on the 31st August 2020.
He is currently detained in Store Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí at Store Street are renewing their appeal for witnesses following a serious collision involving a cyclist and a car in Dublin on Monday 31st August 2020.
A male cyclist in his 20s who was taken by ambulance from the scene in a serious condition has since passed away from his injuries at the Mater hospital on 2nd September, 2020.
Gardaí are renewing their appeal for witnesses and in particular to anyone who was in the area of the North Wall Quay, North Wall Avenue, East Wall Road, Sheriff Street Upper, Castleforbes Road or Castleforbes Square between 10.15pm and 10.30pm to come forward. They are also appealing to road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) from the area at the time to make it available to them.
