An Garda Síochána confirms the following appointments which have occurred during March 2020.
Assistant Commissioner Anne Marie McMahon is performing the functions of Deputy Commissioner, Acting in an Administrative Capacity with responsibility for Strategy, Governance and Performance, with effect from Monday 9th March 2020, pending the position being filled on a full-time basis.
Assistant Commissioner Michael Finn has responsibility for the Southern Region and will retain responsibility for the Eastern Region, on a temporary basis.
Chief Superintendent John Gordon is assigned responsibility, following promotion, for DMR Roads Policing, Dublin Castle with effect from 18 March 2020.
Chief Superintendent Peter Duff is assigned responsibility, on transfer, for DMR South Division with effect from 18 March 2020.

Superintendent Thelma Watters to Kells Garda Station with effect from 10 March 2020
Superintendent Michael McNulty to Kevin Street Garda Station with effect from 27 March 2020
Superintendent Garett Billings to Blackrock Garda Station with effect from 27 March 2020.
