A man has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault on a man that occurred in the early hours of Saturday 13th June 2020 in the Cian Lea estate in Swords, County Dublin.
At approximately 1:40am, Gardaí responding to reports of an altercation discovered a man in his 40s with apparent stab wounds. He was taken to Beaumont Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and brought to Swords Garda Station where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
He has since been charged in connection with this incident and will appear before Swords District Court on the morning of Monday 15th June 2020.
