Two males in their 30s are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon, Friday 10th January 2020 at 4:30pm, charged in relation to a cash in transit robbery that occurred on Monday 6th January 2020 in Clonee, Co. Meath.
Another male in his 30s was released without charge with a file being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

As a result of investigations conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) assisted by Security & Intelligence Section targeting Cash in Transit (CIT) robberies, 3 males aged 35, 33 and 30 were arrested at approximately 3pm today, Monday January 6th 2020, following the interception of 2 vehicles on the N3 at Clonee, Co. Meath immediately after a robbery with firearm of a Cash in Transit (CIT) van delivery in Clonee, Co. Meath.
A cash box containing €30,000, imitation firearm and electronic signal blocker have been recovered.
All 3 suspects were arrested for organised crime offences and are currently detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 at Finglas and Ashbourne Garda Stations.
Investigations are continuing.
