Gardaí are investigating the death of a man following an incident that occurred at approximately midnight on Monday, 10th August, 2020, in the Tymon Road North area of Tallaght, Dublin 24.
A man in his late 50s was taken to Tallaght Hospital with serious injuries where he was later pronounced dead.
A man in his early 30s has been arrested in connection with this incident and is currently detained at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
The scene is currently preserved for technical examination.
