Gardaí at Tralee are investigating a suspected stabbing incident that occurred at approximately 3.30pm on Thursday 9th April 2020 at Caheranne Close, Strand Road, Tralee.
A male in his late teens with apparent stab wounds was taken to University Hospital Kerry with non life threatening injuries.
Scenes of Crime have carried out a full technical examination of the scene. A man in his late teens has been arrested in connection with this incident and is currently detained at Tralee Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Gardaí at Tralee are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with information to come forward as well as any road users travelling in the area who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) to make it available to Gardaí.
