A man has been arrested and charged following an assault (stabbing) incident that occurred at approximately 3pm on Tuesday 28th April 2020 at Wolfe Tone Park, Dublin 1.
A woman in her early 40s sustained non-life threatening injuries during the assault and was taken to The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital for treatment.
A man in his late 30s was arrested a short time later and has since been charged in connection with this incident and appeared at the Criminal Courts of Justice, Dublin, earlier today Wednesday 29th April 2020.
